Irrigation Foreman

JOB TYPE: Full-time; Option for Minimal Layoff
NO Snow Removal.
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday; with Occasional Saturdays
OVERTIME: Paid After 40 Hours
PAYROLL: Direct Deposit is Available
WAGE: NEGOTIABLE, Based on Qualifications and Experience
JOB DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directly work with crew overseeing 1−2 laborers.
- Read, interpret, and understand irrigation plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Excellent observation skills and strong attention to detail.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Manage, supervise, and communicate effectively and efficiently with crew members, day-to-day goals, and expectations.
- Interact daily with customers to ensure job satisfaction.
- Repair all types of pipes, installations, various sprinkler systems, and irrigation valves.
- Being Familiar with Lake Pump Systems is a plus.
- Position sprinklers appropriately.
- Schedule, set up, and explain controllers/timers/zones to customers.
- Troubleshooting electrical problems when necessary.
- Meet and/or exceed project schedules and deadlines through collaboration with other landscape crew and staff.
- Operate equipment such as pipe pullers, track hoes, trenchers, and skid loaders to install systems.
- Track and record job expenses including materials and hours worked.
- Ensure that all installation work is performed by company and industry standards.
- Always maintain a clean and safe job site ensuring that all crew members utilize all required personal protective equipment.
- Ensures that all equipment safety and maintenance procedures are followed.
- Lead by example.
- Report for duty at the designated location and time each day.
- Strive to improve job skills and develop the potential for upward advancement.
- Train crew members to develop the best practices for installation which meet company standards.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to Multi-Task in a Fast-Paced Environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 1 – 2 Years of Experience
- Valid Driver’s License

Irrigation Specialist

JOB DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Repair all types of pipes, installations, various sprinkler systems, and irrigation valves.
- Position sprinklers appropriately.
- Able to schedule and set timing on controllers and troubleshoot electrical problems.
- Meet project schedules and deadlines through collaboration with Foreman and other crew.
- Operate equipment such as pipe pullers, track hoes, trenchers, and skid loaders to install systems.
- Perform other manual duties to clean and maintain a safe work environment, shop, and equipment.
- Follow all equipment safety and maintenance procedures.
- Landscaping duties when other crew needs help.
- Basic measurement and calculation skills.
- Ability to follow safe working procedures.
Our ideal candidate would have some irrigation experience. However, will hire the right individual who is willing to learn, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in the outcome of their work.

- Driving trucks with air brakes and pulling trailers to move equipment and materials to and from various job sites.
- This position would be driving an automatic transmission truck.
- Ability to operate the equipment.
- Willingness to work Overtime.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid CDL Class A Driver’s License Required with Air Brake Endorsement.
- Driving: 1 year (Preferred)

- Ensures that all equipment safety and maintenance procedures are followed.
- Lead by example.
