Unique & Sturdy Paver Driveways

Your driveway is one of the most visible aspects of your property. And we believe it should be as beautiful as the rest of your home. A sturdy paver driveway adds a unique look to your landscaping, providing a high-end aesthetic that traditional asphalt simply can't match.

We create and install customized designs specifically engineered to withstand heavy traffic and the harshest elements. While traditional surfaces often fail under pressure, our permeable interlocking pavers offer a stylish and functional solution that enhances your home’s curb appeal while standing the test of time.

Benefits of a Paver Driveway

In Minnesota, driveways need to work harder than practically anywhere else. So, choosing a professionally installed paver system offers significant advantages.

Weather Resistance

Harsh Minnesota winters can take a toll on concrete or asphalt, causing significant cracks and potholes. Pavers are flexible, allowing them to shift without breaking during freeze-thaw cycles.

Superior Drainage

A permeable paver driveway allows water to drain through the joints, reducing ice buildup in the winter and runoff during heavy spring rains.

Unmatched Durability

Engineered to handle the weight of multiple vehicles, interlocking pavers are a long-term and cost-effective solution for high-traffic areas.

Customized Design

We offer a variety of colors, textures, and patterns, allowing us to create a look that is unique to your lifestyle and budget.

Paver Driveway FAQs

Our JK Landscape Construction team has provided answers to some of our most-asked questions about paver driveways. If you have additional questions, please contact us.

  • How do pavers hold up against snowplowing and shoveling?

Pavers are incredibly resilient. When professionally installed, the edges are beveled, which allows snowplows and shovels to glide over the surface without catching or chipping the material. Because they resist cracking, you also won't have to worry about a plow blade catching on a raised lip of a concrete crack.

  • Will weeds grow between the driveway pavers?

We use high-quality polymeric sand to fill the joints between your pavers. Once activated with water, this sand hardens to create a powerful barrier that resists weed growth and prevents ants from nesting, keeping your driveway looking great for years to come.

  • Is a paver driveway more expensive?

While the initial investment for a paver driveway can be higher than standard poured concrete or asphalt, it is more cost-effective over its lifespan. You avoid the recurring costs of patching cracks, filling potholes, or full surface replacements. If a section of a paver driveway is damaged or stained by an oil leak, for example, that specific area can be replaced without tearing up the entire driveway.
